These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HobbyLava.com and all related features, content, products, and services (the “Services”). “Hobby Lava,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Chicago Card Connection LLC d/b/a Hobby Lava. Our Services are hosted by Shopify Inc. (“Shopify”).

By visiting, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Refund & Return Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or our policies, you may not use the Services.

All purchases are subject to our Refund & Return Policy. You represent that all purchases are for personal use and not for resale.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Prices, promotions, and discounts may change at any time without notice.

The price charged will be the price at the time your order is placed. Prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs, or import fees unless explicitly stated.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Shipping and delivery are subject to our Shipping Policy. Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Once products are transferred to the shipping carrier, title and risk of loss transfer to you. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages after carrier acceptance.

“Hobby Lava” and related logos are trademarks of Chicago Card Connection LLC d/b/a Hobby Lava. Shopify’s marks belong to Shopify. All other marks belong to their respective owners.

We may provide access to third-party tools we do not control. These tools are offered “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or endorsements. Your use of any third-party tools is entirely at your own risk.

SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Important: This section accurately describes Shopify’s relationship with your store and must not be altered.

Hobby Lava is powered by Shopify. However, all transactions are solely between you and Chicago Card Connection LLC d/b/a Hobby Lava.

Shopify is not responsible for any sales, products, services, claims, injuries, or losses arising from your transactions with us. You expressly release Shopify from any such liabilities.

SECTION 10 – PRIVACY POLICY

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Shopify also processes certain data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chicago Card Connection LLC d/b/a Hobby Lava, Shopify, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or replacement costs arising from your use of the Services or products purchased through them.

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

SECTION 17 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold Chicago Card Connection LLC d/b/a Hobby Lava, Shopify, and their affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

SECTION 18 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

SECTION 19 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

Failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver.
These Terms form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Services.

SECTION 20 – ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights at any time.

SECTION 21 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. You agree that disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

SECTION 23 – CHANGES TO THE TERMS

We may update or modify these Terms at any time by posting updates on the Site. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
