Hobby Lava – Purchase Options & Subscription Cancellation Policy

Some items in our store may be offered as subscriptions, pre-orders, limited drops, or other purchase options. This policy explains how cancellations and modifications apply to each purchase type.

This policy works together with our Refund & Return Policy, which applies to all orders.

1. General Policy – All Sales Final

All products offered by Hobby Lava are final sale, including:

  • Subscriptions

  • Subscription renewal orders

  • Lava Packs & mystery products

  • Disney products

  • Singles

  • Sealed boxes & sealed packs

  • Break spots

  • Accessories & merchandise

  • Pre-orders

  • Limited-edition or promotional items

Orders cannot be canceled, changed, modified, or refunded once placed.

2. Subscriptions (Active + Strict No-Cancellation Policy)

Hobby Lava offers subscription-based products.
By enrolling in a subscription, you agree to the following terms:

2.1 Automatic Recurring Billing

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval chosen (weekly, monthly, etc.).

  • Your stored payment method will be charged at each renewal.

  • All subscription orders are final sale.

2.2 No Cancellations of Active or Upcoming Shipments

You may cancel a subscription only for future billing cycles that have not yet been processed.

Once a renewal order is created or payment is processed:

  • The order cannot be canceled.

  • The order cannot be refunded.

  • The order cannot be modified.

This is necessary because subscription inventory is reserved and allocated immediately.

2.3 Managing Subscriptions

Your subscription confirmation email includes a link to manage:

  • Billing information

  • Shipping address

  • Future cancellations (for unbilled orders only)

Updates must be made before the next charge date.

2.4 Failed Payments

If a payment declines:

  • We may retry the charge

  • We may pause or cancel the subscription

  • We may refuse future subscription enrollment

3. Pre-Orders

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge:

  • Pre-orders reserve products not yet in stock.

  • Release dates are controlled by the manufacturer and may change.

  • All pre-orders are final sale.

  • Pre-orders cannot be canceled or refunded for any reason.

  • If an order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, the order may ship once all items are available.

If a manufacturer cancels or drastically alters a release, Hobby Lava will communicate options, but refunds are not guaranteed.

4. Specialty Purchase Options

Try-Before-You-Buy

Hobby Lava does not offer “try before you buy” or approval purchases.
All items are sold as-is at the time of sale.

Limited Drops / Special Releases

Limited products are allocated immediately. No cancellations are allowed after checkout.

5. Lava Packs – Legal Notice & Disclaimers

All Lava Packs products are independently assembled, packaged, and distributed by Hobby Lava / Chicago Card Connection LLC.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any trading card manufacturer, grading company, or intellectual property owner, including but not limited to:

  • The Pokémon Company International

  • Nintendo

  • Creatures Inc.

  • Game Freak Inc.

  • Disney

  • Topps

  • Panini

  • Fanatics

  • Upper Deck

  • PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC

  • Bo Jackson Battle Arena™

  • Any rights holder or licensor

All cards are sourced from the secondary market and authenticated by Hobby Lava.

Examples shown online are for illustration only.
Individual card grades, conditions, and values will vary.

All sales are final and no returns are accepted. No specific card, grade, or value is guaranteed in any product.

Lava Packs are intended for collectors ages 8+.

6. Returns & Refunds

All subscription items, renewal orders, pre-orders, and regular purchases are FINAL SALE with no returns, no exchanges, and no cancellations.
